Microscopes

Microscopes are optical scientific instruments used to magnify small objects, samples and specimens that are otherwise difficult to examine with the naked eye.

There are many types of microscope available including high-magnification compound microscopes and low-profile stereo microscopes, as well as more specialist microscopes including metallurgical microscopes for analysing precious metals and metal compounds, polarsing light microscopes for examining rock samples and fossils in geology, and fluorescence microscopes that use fluorescent and phosphorescence light emission in order to study organic samples.

All of the microscopes we offer are manufactured by leading optical device manufacturer Kern, and can be relied upon for producing unrivalled precision at exceptional value. If you require help choosing the best microscope for your needs then please contact us for information about the models we have in stock.

If you require more information on how to take care of your microscope or how they work, please consult our comprehensive microscopes guide.
