Load Cells

A load cell is a transducer that is used to convert force into measurable electrical output. We stock a wide variety of dependable tension and compression load cell products manufactured by Zemic, including strain gauge amplifiers, loadmeters, single point load cells, S-type and shear beam load cells.

Our range of Zemic shear beam load cells come complete with IP68-rated stainless steel that is hermetically sealed for advanced protection from ingress of liquids and dust. This type of industrial load cell is typically used in truck scales, track scales, hoppers and vessels.

Zemic's single point load cells feature a lightweight, anodised aluminium construction and can be fixed to platforms and surfaces directly. They make for highly-versatile, low-cost load cells that can be used in harsh or hazardous environments for many force measurement and industrial applications.

S-beam load cells (also called Z-beam or S type load cells) are one of the most popular types of load cell available for precision, price and ease of installation. They are used to convert mechanical scales to digital by replacing in-balance hardware and springs. We stock a series of nickel plated and stainless steel models suitable for hanging scales and hopper scales.
