Our selection of top-quality, shore hardness testing meters for measuring the hardness of plastic-based materials.

Shore hardness is measured with a tool known as a Durometer, and may also be know through the term durometer hardness. The hardness value can be determined when the durometer's indenter foot penetrates into the sample. Due to the resilience of rubbers and plastics, the indentation reading my change over time, as a result, the indentation time is sometimes reported along with the hardness number.
