SU 130 Sauter Sound Level Meter

The Sauter SU sound meter is the best sound measuring device for monitoring noise levels in busy city environments as well as the automotive, aerospace and construction industries.

The SU measures sound intensity in a given area and can help differentiate between normal noise influences and excessive noise through selectable methods of evaluation attributed through letters A to F:

• A: As sensitive as the human ear.
• C: Sensitive for noisier environmental conditions with machines and motors.
• F for areas where sound intensity does not vary.

This device has multi measuring functions including:

• Lp: Standard sound level measuring function.
• Leq: Energy equivalent sound level measuring mode (type A).
• Ln: Shows the deviation from a pre-defined limit in %.

SU sound measuring instruments have an in-built TRACK function that can be used for continuous recording of variable environmental conditons, whilst the PEAK HOLD function allows the user to capture peaks in data for statistical analysis. The user can easily set limits and a target values on the device for go/no-go test values. SU sound meters have an internal memory to hold up to 30 measured values, which can be displayed on a PC.
